the weekend

i wish it were still the weekend! we had way too much fun!

we started the weekend off thursday night, my aunt and her boyfriend came to slc from cincinnati. we hadn't seen them in years. we bbq'd, talked and enjoyed the beautiful evening.

friday, most of us had to work, but my mom took them on a tour of park city and deer valley, they seemed to enjoy that. friday night, we were looking for something to do, and my aunt loves to dance, so we searched and searched for a bar or club for dancing, and the only place we could think of was the westerner... HA HA!! we showed up around 7:30 and had some drinks and food, while a couple of us danced. that place has some great people watching. we all had a good time! 

saturday, we got up early for our big day. our first stop was the harley davidson store in lindon. that store is absolutely amazing! we walked around and admired all of the sweet harley's, and bought a few souvenirs {we purchased the first item of clothing for the baby!} after the harley store, we drove up provo canyon and stopped at bridal veil falls. the waterfall is beautiful, and raging quite heavly right now. we took a few pictures and were on to our next stop, the lobster fest! each year, some of chanse's uncle's throw a lobster fest for family and friends. they ship in fresh lobster, and it's a feast. there was lots of food, frisbee, yurts, live music and good times. we stayed for a couple of hours and then headed home. everyone was pretty tired, but it was such a fun day!

sunday, we all took it easy, and had dinner at squatters.

i love weekends like this!!!
