Grandpa Joe Frenette passed away peacefully on Christmas Morning. It wasn't the best thing to wake up to, but we are happy he's in a better place now.

OVILA FRENETTE Jr.
Ovila Joseph Frenette, Jr. 1925 ~ 2010 Joseph Frenette passed away Christmas morning. He was born on August 23, 1925 to Edna Christine Roos and Ovila Frenette. He graduated from South High School and the University of Utah. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He married Jean Morrison on August 11, 1950 in the Manti Temple. Later divorced. Survived by his brother, Donald Frenette, Mesa, AZ. Daughters, Christine (Wynn) Tate, Shauna (Dave) Wagstaff, and Sharon Penney. Twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death earlier this year by his only son, Dale Joseph Frenette. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:45 a.m. Wednesday prior to services at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences may be made to www.larkincares.com
