Andy

A dear friend of our family passed away last Friday.

Andy fought a long, hard battle of cancer. I know he is no longer in pain, and is happy once again. He never complained, kept a smile on his face, and cracked jokes.


Andy was caring, sweet, kind, fun, inspiring, and above all- a good friend.

Andy, you will be missed. We love you very much!




Andrew S. Funk 1970 ~ 2010 Andrew S. Funk passed from this life on Feb. 6, 2010, with his loved one at his side, due to complications of bone cancer. Andy was born on April 27, 1970, in Granger, UT. We are grateful for the time we had together, for Andy's sweet spirit and tender heart, for his example of kindness and love - for his zest of life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him. We know he is at peace and released from all his earthly cares. His life partner David Wood survives Andy, also parents Bill and Judy Funk, sisters and brothers: Karen (Blaine) Hawker, Marilee Mitchell, Mark (Leah) Funk, Jan (Adam) Johnson. Many loved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. Graveside Services will be held on Fri. Feb. 12, at noon, at Redwood Memorial, 6500 S. Redwood Road. Friends and family may call at the church at 3665 S. 6000 W., 10-11 a.m. before service.
